In 1992, the company changed its name again to Yellow Corporation after the creation of a parent company with Yellow Transportation Inc. This move happened during the deregulation of interstate trucking. In the 1980s, the new company created a number of distribution centers primarily to serve customers better across the country. In 1968, the company name changed from Yellow Line Transit Freight Lines to Yellow Freight System Inc.
